    Off-topic but related to how ”Conservatives” always forgive themselves for going along with the vanguard of liberalism instead of the rearguard known as ”Conservatives” or usually just Republicans®(who will happily call anyone a ”kook” who doesn’t go along with the newest and latest addition to ”Condservatism” ,i always found Wintery Knight (& many others in the manosphere)saying some institute was ”Conservative” to be funny.

    {I’m mainly referring to this WK post(linked above in the first section of links) :

    Funny WHY?

    Things like this from Rep. Nancy Mace{who just got in a little trouble cussing out a MAN asking her if she was going to do town hall meetings,at a beauty supply shop, which she said intimidated her on her Facebook page.:

    If a woman feels unsafe, a real man backs off.

    He doesn’t argue. He doesn’t linger. He doesn’t force her to explain her fear.

    A real man respects her and walks away.

    Real men protect women.

    Hold the line.}

    We support gay marriage, and voted for the Respect for Marriage Act twice.

    However, if you think protecting women is discrimination, you are the problem. We don’t care if you’re trans, if you have balls, we don’t want you in the women’s bathroom.

    Like Derek said before, even Barack Obama was still claiming marriage was only between a MAN & woman up until after he first got elected back in ’08, now just 16+ years later, Republicans® are saying” We support gay marriage”without a bit irony or looking like hypocrites. While still going on to the next fight, they will eventually give up on too, e.g., trans in women’s sports and women’s bathroom.

    I was at one time an NRA Member. Decades actually. Not a “gun” enthusiat. Just a guy who wants this “right” protected.

    The NRA rolled over countless times in California, membership in the NRA was dropping fast in California in the 2000’as thru 2010’s because members here in this state were really upset over their aloof stances, no comments and zero helps in California for this right. Also at this time Wayne LaPierre one of the directors…it was disclosed that he was making half a million a year for being a “director” of the NRA

    So….

    The NRA brings out Tom Sellack and he sends a letter to California NRA members and lapsed membership / former supporters of the NRA.

    He explains that the NRA is “standing up for gun rights daily in California” and makes the case that “Texas” has to be the area where the “last stand is made” and that state will make other states by example follow them.

    With the letter came a web link to a survey for the NRA for upset members in California and former members to voice opinions, and the like. Tom is telling us “fill out the survey, we are going to take this seriously”

    So, you finish the survey. It took me an hour. I submit and…………..

    This: In order for your survey to be processed, we need you more than ever, help us stop Barak Obama and his anti-gun policies. please pay $50.00 by paypal / bank / credit card / google wallet to the NRA to complete this survey.

    More enragement followed by members and former members.

    For months afterward I was getting calls from the NRA to “renew membership to stand for gun rights” while at the same time……another huge conference / PAC in Texas where they backslap each other over the “great work they are doing”

    Its easy to preach the choir
