On Equality (An Essay)

Blankslatism is the belief that everyone is inherently equal because everyone starts from the same blank slate. To the full blankslatist, inequality is viewed as the ultimate threat and the greatest sin. The natural consequence, therefore, is to force equality at every possible step. In theory this is supposed to mean giving the downtrodden more opportunities in order to elevate them. But, because blankslatism is a false belief, this instead requires a lowering of standards to the lowest common denominator.

Here is an essay from JayMan, a Jamaican-American who writes regularly on the subject.

JayMan

Why did a Sydney Sweeney Jeans Ad receive more outrage from the Left than a Ukrainian refugee losing her life on American soil?

Why did Sydney Sweeney’s jeans ad draw ire but complete indifference when a pretty young white woman’s neck was stabbed by a black man? Because the blank slate left likes to see winners lose and losers win, to maintain a false picture of “fairness”. White people, especially pretty young white women, are seen as natural winners and they think it’s good when white girls are knocked down a peg. And vice versa for black men.

Natural hierarchies = bad to these people

The blank slate left is uncomfortable with natural hierarchies. They don’t like when (natural) winners win and (natural) losers lose. Which is why they dislike the success of whites and of attractive people. They like when winners lose and losers win.

[This is] a great example of the nature of natural hierarchy.

Some Alt-right folks branded the concern over low-IQ groups and the desire to bring to the West “pathological altruism”. But perhaps it’s better understood as “pathogenically egalitarianism”. Whites are disliked because they’re naturally successful and beautiful, and vice versa.

The socialism box represents this in a way: we get “equality” by holding back the (natural) winners (like Sydney Sweeney) and uplifting the (natural) losers.
